"Home Grown" is an original mixed media artwork by Jess King, painted in acrylic and pen directly over a vintage nautical chart of the Moreton Bay region. Two avocado halves, one showing its stone, sit alongside fresh parsley, cracked peppercorns, and two bright lemon halves, all rendered over the faded lines and place names of the original chart. The result is a still life that ties everyday produce to a real sense of place — Moreton Island visible in the paper beneath the paint.
